Purpose:
Confronting the opportunities and challenges proposed by the tendency of globalizations, Chinese teachers find it is urgent to be more skillful and experienced in order to create an international atmosphere for Chinese education and provide more advanced teaching method with high-tech involved for our students. This English Teachers Training Program offers this rare chance for our Chinese teachers to go to Australia to improve their skills.

Participants: English Teacher (30 per group)

Time: One month during the vocation

Location: Center for Adult Education

Contents:
The aim of this program is designed to reflect teaching theory and practice across two spheres of teaching (primary and secondary settings). Frequent school visits and engagement of visiting lecturers are designed to broaden the experience and knowledge base of students. Academic English prevails the classroom settings; lectures by visiting lecturers are taped for additional listening practice.

Certificates
As students meet learning outcomes they will be eligible for Certificate under the English for Academic Purposes. The program also intends to assist students in achieving requirements to be eligible for Certificate in Workplace Training. Dual institution certificates are possible.
