Huo Maozheng, senior honorary consultant of Beijing Century Peace International Culture and Education Exchange Center (CPCE), is a famous contemporary educator acclaimed by three generations of national leaders. She has been teaching for 60 years, and setting up a series of teaching methods and theory based on her precious educational experience. During the past decades, she has been invited to give speech about her educational research all over China. Her consummate teaching career and noble professional virtue have been set the example for all Chinese teachers, either in primary schools or middle schools.
Ms. Huo devotes herself to support west China’s education as the fact that a large part of rural areas in west China is seriously short of teachers and other basic teaching resources, although students have strong desires for knowledge. 80 years as she is, Ms. Huo raised money by herself for children in these areas, and led a group of people to experience the bad teaching condition in some poor areas of Xinjiang, Gansu, Guizhou, Guangxi and Inner Mongolia etc., in order to irritate more people contribute to such charity career. Therefore, CPCE and Ms. Huo have designed a series of plans such as training teachers for rural schools in west China, and most importantly, we are endeavoring to set a educational foundation named by Huo Maozheng to support Chinese rural education.
