◆Mission
In order to promote Sino-Australia cultural and educational exchange, help those high school students realize their purpose of overseas study, cultivate more excellent talents for China in the new century and build up more ‘potential bridges’ for Sino-Australia.

◆Background
In order to adapt to the trend of young students to study abroad, help these students to choose the appropriate time and the correct way, clear the barriers of language, ease the pressure of study, at the same time, solve parents’ worries and anxieties for the studens to go abroad. Beijing century Peace International Culture and Education Exchange Center (CPCE) and Eltham Collage of Education in Australia jointly run the Pre-High Program.

◆Eltham College of Education Introducation
Eltham College of Education is a famous private school in Australia, situated in a secure and tranquil environment in northeast of Victoria’s capital city, Melbourne. The vibrant city center is easily accessible by car and public transport. Established 30 years ago, Eltham is recognised as an Australia education leader, with an innovative curriculum to involve young people in the excitement of learning and produce outstanding academic results. Most graduaters from this college will get the entrance to many famous universities. Currently, there are many Chinese overseas students in Eltham College, which has a separate department for overseas students and professional administrators to manage the students’ study and life at the school.

◆Contents
Pre-high course is professionally designed by the English experts from China and Australia for the Chinese students who wish to go abroad for further study, which meets the international demand and students can develop the most in their English study. The course is taught in English by Australian teachers. The pre-high course of study covers one year, and during this period, students can study not only the course of domestic but also the course of Australia. After one year of study, students take exam organized by Eltham College, then go to Eltham College for further study if they pass the exam. Furthermore, students could get the entrance to the international famous universities after graduation.
This program is not only to help students enter Australian Eltham College directly, but also help Chinese students who are eager to study overseas to improve their English skills.
