Introduction to Ms. Huo Maozheng |

As
a member of China Communist Party,
a member of The China Association
for Promotion of Democracy, and a
top senior high instructor, she was
born in Sept.,1921 in a teacher's
family in Jinan, Shangdong. Graduated
from Beijing Normal University in
1943, she has been a teacher at the
2nd affiliated primary school of the
university (now the 2nd Experiment
Primary School in Beijing) for 60
years. In 1956, she was elected as
one of the 100 contemporary educationists
in China.
She
once was a vice headmaster of the
2nd Experiment Primary School, and
then a vice director of Beijing Women's
League, an executive of China Women's
League, a member of China Education
Science Planning Group, a vice president
of China Education Society, a standing
president of China Primary School
Chinese Teaching Society. Now she
is a member of China Middle School
and Primary School Teaching Materials
Appraisal Committee.
She was elected as a standing member
of the Central Committee of The China
Association for Promotion of Democracy
, a member of the 5th CNPCC, a standing
member of the 6th, the 7th and the
8th CNPCC. Ms. Huo Maozheng has made
great contribution to the educational
cause in China, she was called a "national
treasure" by former Premier Zhou
Enlai, is a well-known celebrity in
the educational field.
